Huskers Dropped from Polls

On the heels of Nebraska’s loss to Texas Tech, the Huskers have dropped off both the AP Poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll.

Based on vote totals, Nebraska would be ranked #26 in both polls – outside of the official Top 25.

Other Big 12 Teams in Rankings (Team: AP, USAToday):
Texas: #3, #3
Oklahoma State: #14, #12
Texas Tech: #21, #24
Kansas: #24, #21
Oklahoma: #25, NR

I have been a husker fan since the 1960′s when
I attended there. For the last ten years or so
I have been amazed that every time it looks like
the team is going to move up high in the rankings,
they always to into a mid-season slump, and loose
to some no name team. It is almost like clockwork,
they win the first four or five games, loose one
or two to low ranked teams, and then come back to
    win some more.

I believe that the coaching staff need to concentrate
on the mid-season with training and strategy to
prevent this continious problem. It is very
upsetting to see your team go from 15th to the
    slag heaps. Go Huskers.
