Witt is a victim of his dads antics. The elder Witt has averaged a call a day to the coaching staff since the Gator bowl looking for guarantees that his son will be the starter next season or he’d leave. Pelini called his bluff and processed the paperwork for dismissing him from his scholarship and faxed it to Witt’s dad this afternoon.
Samuel McKewon of Nebraska State Paper paints an interesting portrait of two players.
