Great game - we were in it all the way - I couldn’t be prouder! Now, on a negative note, we have to quit with the penalties - that is what has killed us!

I really enjoyed watching the game through your twitter comments. Thanks so much…we weren’t able to watch the game so I at least was able to enjoy it throught your comments.

@Lisa - thanks, it’s fun for us too
@katbron - you’re right, we didn’t get the “W” but we can hold our heads high and rack up some wins from here. Bo didn’t get his signature win, but he’s showing what we can do and what he can do coming off that Mizzou nightmare.
I’m jazzed for the rest of the season now. All I can say is let’s bring the team we saw today (minus the penalties) into Sooner land on Nov. 1.

The blocked extra point set us up for the win, but of course we shot ourselves….. just like your story eluded to Bugeater…… in the foot. We shot it with penalties, when we had Tech down to 4th and 4 and Micheal Crabtree is just sitting wide open playing checkers waiting for the ball, and Joe Ganz, who is a 5th year senior, making a completion to the wrong guy. Sooner or later the ball will break our way, but it gets harder and harder to watch us KILL ourselves every week.
I was very disappointed in the officiating also. TT was holding all day long on offense and there were at least TWO facemasks that were not called.

One thing I’ve been discussing with my group is whether or not to go for two with 30 seconds left. We had their defense worn down and we were on the road. But at the same time, it would have been disappointing to miss a two point conversion after coming back like that. Any thoughts???

I think the decision to go for the tie was the right one. Pelini said on his show he gave going for it quite a bit of thought, and that had we tied it in OT he was leaning toward going for two at that point, but…. Anyway, after our fake FG I think our luck bag might have been a little empty, so I think it was a good call.
