Glenn Wraps His Arms Around New Challenge
Man, I can’t wait to see Cody Glenn destroy some opposing running backs and unsuspecting receivers this fall. It’s going to be fun.

Glenn, may have surprised some, including himself, by making the move from running back to linebacker for his final season in Lincoln. BUt if you listen to him speak to Lincoln Journal Star reporter, Brian Christopherson, the guy is ready to play.
“The biggest thing about me is I just want to win,” he says. “That’s the bottom line. Whatever it takes. If I have to kick the ball, whatever I’ve got to do.”
Regarding how he was treated by Loserhan’s crew, Glenn is equally forthcoming.
“I can tell you this,” Glenn says. “If Coach (Bo) Pelini hadn’t been here and we kept the same staff, I wouldn’t have been here. It’s just the way I felt. I don’t feel I was treated fairly. I wasn’t given the same opportunity as maybe some others. It’s hard. You just kind of question your ability: ‘Can I do this?’ or ‘Am I not good enough?’ So I kind of saw with Coach Pelini getting here as kind of a blessing.”
Glenn’s not the only one. I don’t know how many fans would be here this fall either. But thankfully, we took care of that sordid business and now it’s time to focus on fall camp and the season beyond.

Go Cody! Way to speak out against the old staff. It seems like this is the first time a player has actually criticized the Bill Callahan staff. I know others have but I haven’t heard one of our players say “I wasn’t treated fairly” or “wasn’t given fair opportunity”. It also shows that these players trust this new staff a lot more than they did with Bill Callahan’s staff, which we all know is a very good sign.
