The funny thing about this is earlier in the day, I was talking to a co-worker. I said we need someone to run the defense that knows what it is like to be a blackshirt. Someone who can get emotional and light a fire under these guys butts. The name I threw out was Mike Minter. He is retired from a great career in the NFL, he is from the south, so he can recruit Texas & Oklahoma. He played several positions in college…Rover ( remember when they called it that ), linebacker, and sometimes a rush end…..He would have a good relationship with fans, players and coaches. After listening to that, I thought, let’s make Peter our line coach. How would you like to mess up under him?
