All season? I have not seen this kind of play on both side of the ball since Osborne. Especially, in a big game like this.
The ABC announcers said the players really wanted to prove BC knows that he’s doing. Hey, if it this is it, and how it’s going to work from now on–and we can humiliate Gary Barnett’s squad on national TV–I’m all for it. And I’m pretty sure thousands more are with me on this.
What’s this big turnabout, cynics may ask. No such thing. The guy hadn’t proved squat in two years on the field. He still has much to prove. Namely that he, and the team, can repeat this tenacity and level of execution in our bowl game, through the spring and come out swinging big time next fall. 4-4 in the conference is not getting it done. But damn, that buffalo meal on Black Friday did satisfy.
