Big12 Preseason Newcomer of the Year
Nebraska’s incoming Junior quarterback, Zac Taylor was named the Big12’s Preseason Newcomer of the Year at the kickoff of the Big12 Media Days.
Taylor, a 6-2, 210, junior quarterback, joined the Huskers after transferring from Butler County Community College. He passed for close to 3,000 yards and 29 touchdowns while leading his team to the NJCAA championship game last season
In other Preseason announcements, The Huskers Kurt Mann (Center, Junior) was named to the Big 12 Preseason Offensive team and Daniel Bullocks (DB, Senior) was named to the Big 12 Preseason Defensive team.
